Digital RF with its partners offers complete counter terrorist and surveillance systems, bespoke to a client’s need using the latest technology. In this context it offers design, manufacture, systems integration, software, training and field support.

The company staff and supporting staff comprise of RF design engineers, software engineers, mechanical designer, system engineers, project manager test engineers and assembly staff. All design is in house but production and PCB assembly is sub-contracted.

All production is placed with companies in the UK accredited with the Quality Standard 9000/9001.

Mini Black Shadow Jammer Module

Digital RF Mini Black ShadowThe Mini Black Shadow jammers are designed to protect against mobile phone operation or radio controlled bombs (RCIEDs), or from terrorist communications. The Mini Black Shadow jammer is highly portable and comes complete with power supply and optional battery backup. It can be suplied with a range of plug-in Black Shadow jammer modules.
The jammer modules operate in frequency bands from 20MHz to 3000MHz, although the most used bands are 20-500MHz HF/VHF/UHF radio handsets, CDMA, GSM and 3G mobile telephone links.

The weight of each jammer plug in is just 4kg. The RF power of the Backpack jammer is limited for safety reasons however higher powers are available for Flightcase jammers. In its basic form one jammer may be set to jam 20-500MHz or 500-1000 MHz or Satellite Phones, CDMA, PCS, GSM, UMTS, 3G, WiiFi and WiMax bands.
Each frequency band offers the option of blanket jamming or targeted. The Mini Black Shadow is supplied with highly efficient Omni directional antennas to maximize the jamming area in different scenarios. A Digital RF Threat Detector can be provided Digital RF Mini Black Shadowto sense the presence of HF/VHF/UHF radio handsets, or CDMA/GSM mobile telephones, and automatically turn on the jammer to target the threat frequencies. The Threat Detector conserves power and reduces un-necessary radiation as the jammer only powers up on when registering a threat. The detector can be manually/ remotely overridden.
