Digital RF COFDM Transmitter

The PMR DR200 Digital Video Transmitter is designed to provide a high quality video, audio, and data transmission for Police, Fire and Military personnel in a tactical environment. A range of linear amplifiers are available to extend its range to 5-10 Km The basic DT200 is ideal for front line public and military personnel involved in anti terrorist missions, situation assessment, search and rescue, incident response, and peace time or battle field surveillance. In addition to high quality video the link provides for real time audio or recorded commentary without the need for conventional radios. The data channel may be used for GPS data or outputs from nuclear, biological or chemical sensors.

Available in P,L,S and C-Bands, the DR 200 performs exceptionally well in the non line of site environment allowing personnel to move freely through a threat while providing reliable imagery. Having a total weight of 0.4 Kg the unit may be fitted to a belt or vest or worn covertly. In its tactical role the 150mW linear transmitter only draws 0.75A giving a reasonable battery life, Its range may be boosted using compact 1-5W external amplifiers.

The video can be encrypted for security. Its rugged aluminium housing is engineered for applications where severe environmental conditions are the norm. Frequency selection is via the front panel , other functions are set via a D type interface.
